[untitled] by Caterina Merenda

1/24/2017

i am proud of her.

she used menstrual blood
as war paint, smearing her face with the
vengeance of a warrior.

and she pranced throughout the
golden coast and along the ocean’s shore,
exploiting this beautiful

thing called

being a woman.
